Stakeholder diversity and collaborative innovation: Integrating the resource-based view with stakeholder theory

This paper uses Stakeholder Theory to build on the Resource-Based View (RBV) of firm – and its extension, Knowledge-Based (KBV) theoretically empirically assesses how a choice stakeholders with diverse set interests motives affects development collaborative innovation. Theoretically, discusses collaborating types innovations; whether focal organisation's access information sources may influence behaviour different collaborators. The empirical analysis is based Spanish Technological Innovation Panel (2015–2016) data. results show that collaborations secondary (primary) are typically associated likelihood developing eco-innovations (product process innovations) increased demand for skilled workers.
